i requested this ‘free’ freight only offer (of course we know, because tehy have told us, teh y freight covers all the cost manufacture too)
i then was taken through upteen upsell back end offers (4-5 in fact!)
although referred to there was no “no thanks” button so i clicked on ted nearest thig to a next page button to get final page and to orginal offer
unbeknown to me, every time i clicked next page button, they were charging me for EVERY item
ALL WITHOUT ANY NOTIFICATION.
AND NO SHOPPING CART OR ANYTHING AT END JUST THE ORIGINAL OFFER PAGE I WAS AFTER
the first i knew about it was when i clicked send/receive and all these separate order acknowledgements came pouring in .. some $4,000 in total!!!
so i followed so called support link and sent in a complaint and a demand for a immediate refund
(you notice with all these web based forms that (unless you do screen captures etc) – YOU HAVE NO RECORD !)
no reply/response after two days.
so i sent another opne.
no response AGAIN/STILL!
NOW ABOUT 4 days later.
so we have gone to cc company and hopefully sort it out)
completely put me off russell and mike, and his mates, and since then been busy cancelling subscrioptins everywher except a couple.

I’ve certainly never seen one of Russell’s upsell pages that didn’t have a “no thanks” link or button somewhere, so I’d guess that you just missed it somehow.
“i clicked on ted nearest thig to a next page button” — sounds like this is the point where you should have tried contacting support rather than clicking the “next best thing” without understanding what was going to happen.
Why you would have gotten no response after contacting support I don’t know — certainly Russell knows that ignoring refund requests would be dangerous to his business, so I can’t imagine he’d do that intentionally. Every marketer I know of who’s spoken on the subject honors all refund requests immediately and without question, because it’s simply not worth the time and energy trying to convince people who’ve asked for a refund to change their mind. It’s better to just move on to the next potential buyer.
Anyway, Don, I don’t expect to convince you of anything, but I’m sure this was an isolated incident rather than a shady policy.
