When you’re trying to establish contact with a big name “guru”, sometimes it’s too big a leap to contact them directly. In such cases, your best strategy might be to develop contacts with people they know. Part of my strategy in stalking Russell Brunson will be to establish contact with his affiliate manager, Brent Coppieters.

All of the strategies I’ll be blogging about for stalking a guru should apply equally to stalking their contacts. That may seem obvious, but it’s important to keep it in mind to ensure that you don’t focus your attention too much on your main prey to the neglect of their contacts. Surely their contacts will be more interested in developing a relationship with you if you treat them as more than just a stepping stone to someone else.

Also, don’t just pretend to be interested in them. First because they’re probably valuable contacts in and of themselves. And second because if they see through you, you’ll probably be even worse off than if you were up front about only being interested in them as contacts of your main target.

So, what I’m I doing to get known to Brent Coppieters? Participating in his Monday morning calls. Mentioning him in my blog :-). I’ll have to work on more angles.

And who else who has contact with Russell might I stalk?
