Hello world. Why did I build this website, and why is Russell Brunson the first guru I’m targeting here?

I built the site because I’ve been thinking more and more lately about developing business contacts. I’ve been selling website building and internet marketing products for several years, and have had some limited contact online with a few big names (Chris Pirillo and Robin Good in the RSS/new media space, along with very limited contact with Michael Cheney and Shawn Casey — I pointed out some technical problems on their sites and got responses back). But I don’t have regular contact with…really any business contacts, I’ve never done a proper JV, and have never cultivated the kinds of relationships that would lead to JVs and other such things. It’s time for that to change.

So why Russell? Probably the main reason is that ethics are very important to me, and I’m of the impression that Russell ethics can be trusted. Another obvious reason is that he’s very successful. A third is that I’m signed up to attend my first offline event in February, and it’s one of his.

Well, I’ve got to run to Sam’s Club, so I’ll come back later and set up a “Russell Radar” on my homepage, maybe work on a new header graphic, etc.
