With 15 years IM exoerience and as somebody who is supposed to know what they are doing, I get tons of JV offers a day. It's true, you become immune to them and start to ignore them. What you did is unique and cool, but importantly you didnt spam. You replied to a message, which shows interest, and not doubt you showed some other qualities to that aided a reply. Thinking outside the box, it's what real good entrepreneurs do... Good stuff.. Good post.
